This week’s Rap Finds includes Young Thug’s signee, 1300SAINT. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia - SAINT is an artist to watch out for, with his latest cosign coming from the SoundCloud legend himself, Trippie Redd. Check out his single ‘Gallery’ from his latest project “ALL HAIL.”
Speaking of SoundCloud legends, Yung Lean joins this week’s finds with his latest single ‘Babyface Maniacs.’ Described as one of the most influential figures of Cloud Rap, Lean is a beloved artist of the underground, having collaborated with artists like Travis Scott, FKA Twigs, Dean Blunt, and more.
Another upcoming artist from Atlanta is none other than 19 year old rapper, Hardrock. Known for his unique vocal delivery over a plethora of production styles, Hardrock is another artist to watch for. His single ‘10f1’ comes from his 2023 project of the same name. Sk8star is another young artist from Atlanta, recently getting a cosign from Ye himself (fka Kanye West). His single ‘Kame From Nothing’ joins this weeks Rap Finds.
We are now in a generation of artists inspired by young legends like Juice WRLD and XXXTentacion. Last week, we included Kee Nola, an artist often compared to Juice. This week we include XiiiDolor and his single ‘You.’ XiiiDolor is an artist with several top hits under his belt and is someone who’s been compared to fellow Florida rapper, XXXTentacion.
2hollis’s fourth studio album “star” is out now and features songs like ‘cope’ and ‘sidekick.’ The project is a blend of rap, electro, pop, and rock - and yet the project lands in the hands of Underground Hip-Hop fans alike, specifically the Carti/Opium crowd. This is definitely a project worth checking out due to it’s unique sound.
From one unique artist to the next - Arkansas artist, Xenos, latest single ‘Crash Out’ with $cotti is a track worth checking out. Similar to 2hollis, Xenos introduces a unique sound - blending grunge rap, rock, electro, EDM, and even country in his some of his songs.
Speaking of Arkansas, there seems to a bubbling scene in the state that is ready to explode at any minute now. Arkansas artists, 4NRhythm and SpaCityTRawww ‘Gimme A Break’ is a melodic and entrancing single worth listening to.
On the other side of the same coin are Arkansas artists, $avedbypari$ and 900 THORNZ. Showing off their raw lyrical ability in their collab single ‘Pistol Packing,’ the song is a blend of hip-hop, grunge, and distortion - reminiscent of the SoundCloud Era days.
