The Mac Miller & Juice WRLD Collab That Never Happened

In September of 2018, Mac Miller messaged Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett about working with Juice WRLD. Bennett directed many of Juice WRLD’s music videos including ‘All Girls Are The Same’ and ‘Lucid Dreams’ in addition to one Mac Miller music video for the song ‘Learn How To Watch’

Unfortunately, Mac never got to work with Juice due to Mac’s untimely passing on September 7, 2018. Both artists dealt with similar themes of depression and anxiety, and were known for their unique and powerful musical styles.

Following Mac’s passing, Juice spoke highly of Mac Miller many times, often leading tributes to him at his shows and in his music. Juice WRLD’s unreleased song “Cursed” includes a lyric that mentions Mac Miller and Lil Peep, further solidifying the connection between the two artists.

15 months after Mac Miller’s accidental drug overdose, Juice WRLD would too suffer the same fate, passing away December 8, 2019

Fans have speculated about a potential collaboration between Juice WRLD and Mac Miller, suggesting that they would have made great music together, given their shared struggles and musical styles.

Googly, a popular Juice WRLD leaker, has suggested that a track exists and that it was intended for Juice WRLD’s final album ‘The Party Never Ends’ - However, the track has yet to come to light despite the release of TPNE.

What are your thoughts on a possible collab between these two artists?
